Terms of use

These terms apply to everyone who uses this website, its lift planning tools, calculators and training services, provided by LiftPlan Pro.

1. The service

The planners and calculators are aids for planning lifting, rigging and load securing operations. They calculate results from the information you enter and from data tables built into the service.

2. Your responsibility for every lift

Results are not a substitute for the judgement of a competent person. Before any lift or transport, a competent person must check the plan against the actual equipment, current certificates, the manufacturer's data and instructions, site conditions, applicable law and standards. You are responsible for the data you enter. The limits of use stated inside each tool form part of these terms.

3. Accounts and subscriptions

An account is for one person. Do not share your password. A subscription gives one user access for the period shown on the account page. Subscription codes are single-use and may not be resold or published. Accounts used to share access or to extract data may be suspended.

4. Acceptable use

You may not copy, scrape or systematically extract the tools' methods, data tables, sketches or results, attempt to reverse engineer the service, or use automated tools to access it. You may print and keep your own plans and calculations.

5. Training

Course registrations are confirmed by email. Fees are invoiced before the course and are due as stated on the invoice. Certificates are issued on completion as described on the certification page.

6. Ownership

The service, its methods, data, sketches, course material and text belong to LiftPlan Pro or its licensors. Your projects belong to you.

7. No warranty and limit of liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, LiftPlan Pro gives no warranty that results are complete, accurate or suitable for a particular operation and is not liable for loss, damage or injury arising from use of the service or reliance on its results. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes

The tools, data and these terms may change. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
