Subscriptions, training, reports and how the tools work.
What does the subscription include?
Full access for one user for a year to the side boom and forklift lift planners, all 17 sling tension calculators, the wooden mat and lashing calculators, saved projects and history, A4 reports and the approval workflow. It costs USD 19.99 / year.
Is anything free?
Yes. Two sling tension calculators (single-leg vertical and two-leg bridle) are free to use, and you can create an account and browse the training catalogue at no cost.
How do I pay for the subscription?
Create an account, then contact us or use the corporate form. After payment you receive a subscription code; enter it on your account page to activate the year.
Are training courses included in the subscription?
No. Training is booked and paid separately, per course. The fee for each course is shown on its page.
How do I book a training course?
Open the course page and send the registration form. We confirm dates by email and send an invoice before the course. For a group at your own site, use the corporate training form.
Can I use the tools on site from a phone?
Yes. The planners and calculators work in a phone browser, with guided input panels sized for small screens. An internet connection is needed because calculations run on the server.
Can someone else approve my lift plan?
Yes. Send the plan to an approver by email address. When they sign in with that email they see it under Approvals and can approve it or return it with comments. Changing a plan after approval withdraws the approval.
How are reports produced?
Open any saved plan or calculation and choose Report. It is laid out for A4; use your browser's print dialog to print it or save it as a PDF.
Are the results a substitute for a competent person?
No. The tools are planning and calculation aids. A competent person must check every lift plan against the actual equipment, certificates, manufacturer's data, site conditions and applicable standards.
How accurate are the calculations?
Each tool reproduces its source engineering workbook. Before release every formula result is compared against the workbook, including randomised test cases. The data catalogues come from published manufacturer figures where available and are marked where values are modelled.
Where is my data stored and who can see it?
Your account and projects are stored on our server. Only you, the approvers you send a plan to, and site administrators can open your projects. See the privacy policy.
Can I cancel?
The subscription does not renew automatically unless you set up a recurring payment. See refunds and cancellations for the details.
